Squad Program
Training the champions of the future, our squad program consists of distinct levels, arranged according to the swimmers’ abilities. Squad levels are set to cater for recreational swimmers, improving their stroke technique and fitness, right up to elite swimmers competing in National Championship competitions.
Swimmers will be assessed prior to being placed into a Squad group to ensure they are working to a level appropriate to them. All swimmers will be assessed ongoing to move up levels if needed.

Assessments
Assessments are run Monday to Friday from 4:45pm - 5:15pm and Saturday from 12pm - 1pm.
Meet the Coach
Clinton Camilleri - Head Coach
Clinton has been a competitive swimming coach over the past 14 years, being at Auburn Swim Club for the past 2.5 years. Over the past 5 years Clinton has guided 5 athletes onto the Australian team and have been selected to represent Australia at both the 2018 Pan Pacific Championships and the 2019 IPC World Championships.
Clinton's passion is developing grass roots talent and giving all swimmers the opportunity to be their best.
In October 2016 one of Clintons athletes Tim Hodge represented Australia at the Rio Paralympics in which the 15 year old made 3 finals placing 4th,4th and 5th.

GOswim Academy - Developmental Squads
Aimed at kids who have already learnt the basics of swimming, GOswim Academy is designed for students aged between the ages of 8 and 14 years old. It’s perfect for kids ready for junior squads, or for those who are interested in getting ready for the competitive swimming club environment.
Bronze Squads
This program is aimed at developing swimmers to a standard so they can compete successfully at various levels, ranging from school and club meets through to district level competitions. Bronze swimmers generally range from 8-12 years of age.
Duration: 1 hour
Maximum Attendance: 4 sessions per week
Location: Outdoor 25 metre pool
Equipment: Cap, goggles, fins, kick board and pull buoy
Coach: Clinton & Jess
Sessions are Monday to Friday: 4:00pm - 5:00pm, Saturdays 8:00am - 9:00am
Silver Squads
This program is based around Auburn swimming club members to further skills and abilities in all four strokes whilst in competitive swimming, with an aim to gain best results at school carnivals right through to state and national championships. This program is a natural progression from Bronze.
Duration: 2 hours
Minimum Attendance:
10/under: 4 sessions per week
11/over: 5 sessions per week
Location: Outdoor 50 metre pool
Equipment: Cap, goggles, paddles, fins, kick board and pull buoy

Gold Squads
This program is for ambitious swimmers looking to attain results at National and International level competitions. Swimmers in this program must be National level swimmers or State level swimmers with the intention of progressing to a National level. Swimmers in this program are selected at coaches’ discretion, and will be expected to participate in all nominated carnivals. Swimmers in this program will be expected to attend minimum sessions per week dependent the age of each swimmer. Special consideration will be given to school commitments.
Duration: 2 hours

13/over: 7 sessions per week
Location: Outdoor 50 metre pool
Equipment: Cap, goggles, paddles, fins, kick board and pull buoy
