Auburn Ruth Everuss Aquatic Centre is located in the heart of Lidcombe, 5 minutes from the Lidcombe train station and city centre.
Our facility is a state of the art facility for the Cumberland region featuring a 50m outdoor Olympic pool with grand stand, indoor 25m pool, outdoor water polo pool, family leisure and program pool, an interactive shaded water play pool for children and families providing year-round aquatic, leisure and wellness programs for people of all ages and abilities.
We also offer a fully equipped gym with group exercise classes such as Aqua Fit, Yoga, Pilates, Boxing and more. Our services also include water slides, a café, as well as community meeting rooms.

Accessways
There are three options to access Auburn Ruth Everuss Aquatic Centre:
- A ramp via the right of the facility that takes you up to the entrance;
- By taking a train to Lidcombe station, head towards Church Street exit towards the A6, after the crossing and a 3 minute walk, our facility should be on your right;
- By driving, there is a council car park 4P area 3 minutes away from our facility on Church Street. There are street parking offering whole day parking.
Café
There is a café towards the right of the entrance.
This is fully accessible once in the facility.
Change Rooms and Showers
Auburn Ruth Everuss Aquatic Centre is equipped with seven accessible change rooms.
- Warm water pool area x 2
- 50m Pool/Waterpolo Pool x 2 (Towards the back);
- 25m Pool x 2; and
- Health Club x 1
Meeting Rooms
There is one community room for hire on the ground floor next to the Splash Pad.
Parking
There are two designated accessible parking bays next to Auburn Ruth Everuss Aquatic Centre's ramp entrance in on the street. Lighting is provided in these areas.
There is a council car park area (4P) approximately 3 minute walk away from our facility and also off-street parking at the junction of Church Street and Olympic Drive and is located halfway between the Lidcombe and Auburn train station.
Pool and Spa
50 metre pool with access ramp;
25 metre pool with access ramp and stairs;
Warm water program pool with access ramp; and
Leisure Pool with beach entry.
Specialist Equipment
Pool hoist available at the warm water program pool.
Toilets
Toilets can be found within all change rooms and additionally:
- Leisure pool towards the 50 metre pool entrance;
- Back of 25 metre pool;
- Towards the back fo the health club area.
